The Art of Switching off

Taking yourself back to a time when technology was a TV without a remote.

At nearly 40, I have found myself recently looking back to when I was a child, to a time when the internet wasn’t invented and a TV only had 4 channels and you had to get off the sofa to change the channel.

Fast forward to today. I’m currently typing this on a laptop, and checking my social media on my smart phone, when actually deep down I’d rather be reading a book.

I am the type of introverted being that craves silence and this modern world is starting to annoy…
